Relax - This is the Life

I think this is one of my favourite Layouts I have done lately! It was time consuming but I love the way it turned out with all the detail!

I started off inking the base sheet with our Close to My Heart Ink - juniper, glacier, lagoon, sea glass 

This took many layer of ink to get the look I wanted and I just kept rubbing on the layers!

Next I took a water pen and randomly spritzed the page to give it a "splashed" look. LET DRY all the way! Overnight even there was a lot of ink on the page.

I then added a sheet of velum over top. I took lagoon reinker in a shimmer pen and made shimmer spatters by flicking the pen at the velum, LET DRY AGAIN!

I continued with the cricut cuts and other paper layers after that. You can see the detail in the pictures below.

Hello Summer ATV Layout

Our family likes to camp and quad so what better layout to sport our family trips! 

Use liquid glass on quad to give it some shine!

Family Tree

Check this awesome cricut cut out... Yep you guessed it it is again from our NEW "YOU ARE HERE" Cricut collection coming out AUGUST 1, 2017

I didn't make a design space file for this one but it is pretty simple

Step One: Cut out the tree in Expresso... PST that is a hint... YEPPERS NEW COLOUR COMING!

Step Two: Cut out two fern trees the same size using the layers on they cricut key, Cut leaves off 1

Step Three: Label and cut your pieces to fit the back of the holes with your family names

Step Four: Ink and shape leaves with bone folder and foam mat, to make them crinkly 

Step Five: Assemble Layers!

Touring the town

For this page I matched the building fundamental line with coordinating cardstock to have some pattern with the same colour backing! I also used foam tape to pop up all the building and photo mattes throughout the whole layout! A girl can never have enough foam tape!

I love the cloud back ground i made on this page! It is one of those easy WOW techniques and it takes NO time at all! 

Cut out a cloud on your Cricut... place inky sponge daube on cloud cut out and swipe up! It drags the ink off the cloud to make a soft outline without and harsh edges! Continue to layer until you have reached the desired number of clouds making sure to overlap some for a random look.

Clip Board Art!

This is a super easy way to Dress up and display photos with very little money spent! This is really just a dollar store clip board, spray painted matte black and blinked up with paper! 

I used silver foil paper, velum, Bashful glitter paper and Basics fundamentals... LOVE! 

These will all be available on my website AUGUST 1, 2017!!! New catalog time! 

In addition to the above items mentioned I also used some Bashful pearls and the new YOU ARE HERE cricut cartridge from Close to my Heart available August 1 as well!

Convention "Remember This" Layout

So as some of you may know I presented at out National Convention in Salt Lake City! It was an honour to be asked and a privilege to do it! I planned from the start of my presentation that I would share all the design space files for my art! Close to My Heart and my Sister consultants have been supportive in my journey and I felt this was just a tiny way I could give back to them!
