September 29-October 2, 2016

Time to get your creative juices flowing and work on some albums or any craft project! September is creeping up on us and so is a weekend of uninterrupted crafting! Besides the freedom to spread out and scrapbook around the clock, there are other optional activities available to enhance your weekend experience. I will be doing some tutorials to help inspire you and show you some great techniques! They will be spread out through the weekend, all the materials for those will be supplied and they are optional! You will have your own table to spread out and craft! Meals will be included all day Friday, Saturday and brunch on Sunday. You are also more than welcome to pull out a camper and stay on site. Massages and Pedicures will be available. There will also be plenty of crafting products on site if you happened to leave anything at home. 

Deposit must be paid to hold your spot ($75) and tables are limited.

The retreat is held at the Easyford Hall in Drayton Valley

We had  so much fun last time, there was a ton of laughs, so much great food, and most importantly a room full of ladies that I call my friends! Here are some snippets of the spring retreat! 

FLOWER FLOWERS AND MORE FLOWERS!

I absolutely love how this page turned out! I created it for our Nation Close To My Heart Convention this is Florida. They had a layout contest that we were supposed to create a layout that included current product and a core memory. Our theme this year was based on the movie INSIDE OUT. It was fun! So this is the core memory I decided to share. It was my very first incentive trip that I earned with Close To My Heart. We went on an Eastern Caribbean Cruise, this was a first for me. My husband and I have never cruised before, yes thats right they paid for him to come too! It was an amazing experience and I had the opportunity to meet some amazing people! Okay back to the layout... I fussy cut out all the flowers and centres for the flower. The flowers were stamped directly on the Calypso paper and then shaped and adhered on with foam tape.
